I didn’t actually realise Sirtis was a Brit until I heard her talking with her normal, London accent in the behind-the-scenes stuff. Very disconcerting, for some reason… but not as disconcerting as seeing LeVar Burton with eyes!

And I think the introduction of The Borg more than compensates for the lingering presence of Wesley… especially since it eventually leads to the introduction of Seven-of-Nine. :)

I’m reminded of Denise Crosby’s Playboy spread some years before the series–good heavens, does that meet Star Fleet bylaws? And someone on Twitter recently asked Marina Sirtis if she’d done any nude scenes. She answered the question sufficiently by saying “Most British actresses have!”

I remember being surprised to learn who Michelle Phillips was following that episode. There were some interesting surprises in the guest cast on that series! (Then there was the time my next-door neighbor from college suddenly appeared on Voyager as himself. How many people appear in Trek episodes under their own auspices? And I had recorded a couple of songs with this guy years before. Completely bizarre!)
