Overtime Bonus

"Subtle Sexuality"To cheer myself up after my recent script rejection, I’ve been working through my boxset of the first three seasons of The Office (US). Back when I first wrote about them, I mentioned that I was looking forward to seeing the formation of Kelly’s girl group “Subtle Sexuality”… so, I was seriously disappointed when I started looking into buying the later seasons, and discovered that those particular web shorts have not been included on any of the available DVDs. Well, apparently someone heard my prayers (or my swears), because today sees the R1 release of Overtime: Digital Shorts Collection, which (according to TV Shows on DVD) contains such delights as: The Accountants, Kevin’s Loan, The Outburst, Blackmail, Subtle Sexuality, The Mentor, The Podcast, The Office Convention: Cast Q&A, Paley: Inside the Writer’s Room, “Subtle Sexuality” Commentary (with Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, and Ellie Kemper), “Blackmail” Video Commentary (with Creed Bratton), “Subtle Sexuality” Music Video, Dwight Schrute Music Video, “Lazy Scranton” Video, Michael Scott’s Dunder Mifflin Ad and Fake PSAs.

A couple of those have already been included on others sets, of course, but most of them are all shiny and new. Yay! And for those who can’t wait, here’s a link to the “Male Prima Donna” video.

Hee hee! I hadn’t seen the Subtle Sexuality video. (It comes perilously close to an unsubtle wardrobe malfunction right around 1:34. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

Thanks for giving me an excuse to watch the video again! I’m looking forward to seeing Ellie Kemper join the show, because she’s hilarious in the video… and a pretty nifty dancer too!
