…One of these things just doesn’t belong!
Yesterday I was browsing the racks in a local second-hand shop, when I spotted the “classic films” collection pictured here, which includes the following unlikely bed-fellows:
The Shawshank Redemption (1994), a critically acclaimed and much loved drama, starring Tim Robbins as a banker who struggles to keep mind, body and soul together after being sent to a maximun security prison for a murder he didn’t commit!
Shivers (aka Orgy of the Blood Parasites, The Parasite Murders, They Came from Within, or Frissons) (1975), a “body horror” flick written and directed by David Cronenberg, in which a wacky scientist infects the residents of an apartment building with a combined aphrodisiac/venereal disease that drives them mad with desire.
Witchcraft (aka La Casa 4 or Witchery) (1988), a horror flick starring David Hasselhoff and Linda Blair, about a group of tourists trapped in a haunted resort hotel, suffering the wrath of an evil witch (and getting sexually assaulted by Satan!)
Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
