New Year, New Title, Same Old Shi–

Hello and Happy New Year to y’all (or “Happy Half-Year” to my fellow Geminis!)

As regular visitors may have noticed, I’ve changed the title of this blog*, as well as the banner image. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while, and figured now was as good a time as any. For better or worse, the content/focus of the blog will remain the same… I just felt that “Thalia’s Garden” was too comedy-centric, considering how many other genres I like to rant about. So… er… welcome to The Valet of the UltraVixens!!!

[Note: The banner above features doodles (drawn by me) of Haji and Tura Satana, as they appeared in Russ Meyer’s Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965)… in case anyone was curious…]

———–

* Apparently it may take a while for the blog’s new title to actually appear in browsers and such… but the “support” pages assure me it will happen eventually…

Happy New Year to you too!!! I love the name change, I think it’s very catchy. And the banner is beautiful. Did it take you a long time to get it just right? It looks like it would have taken a lot of time to perfect.

Bless you… and, yes, I’ve been tweaking that banner for a month or so now. I’m most proud of the lettering… figuring out how to make it look all worn and patchy took a lot longer than I expected, but now I have the “technique” down pat. Hurrah!

Say what?
